I was born in Lima, Peru. When I was 2 years old, my family came to the United States to pursue the “American Dream.” Although both my parents had their college degrees in Peru, they sacrificed their careers to immigrate to the U.S. to provide my sister and I with a better future. I am a Louis E Dieruff alumni and am thankful I was involved in their AFJROTC program where I learned leadership skills and the importance of community involvement.
I’m very passionate about film and music. I have loved both subjects since childhood and have vivid memories of playing with my action figures and creating intricate storylines that still resonate with me today. In high school I really started pursuing music and film. I learned how to produce, record and mix music and started my own music group. I started my business, LBJ Media, back in 2015 while studying film at Lehigh Carbon Community College. In the beginning, the company was just me and one camera, but mentorship and hard work helped me build my company and realize that my art can positively impact and support the Allentown community. I am proud to say that I won the 2017 Lehigh Valley Golden Latin Award for Business Person of the Year! I am proud to call Allentown my home and feel fortunate that I’ve been able to pursue my creative dreams and make lasting connections with a diverse group of people. I am passionate about visual storytelling and believe it can have a great influence on a community that can last longer than a lifetime. |
