Written By Luis Bardales Jr. Founder & Producer at LBJ Media Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | LinkedIn I want to start off by saying Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mothers out there in the world. Today is a special day where I want to acknowledge and appreciate the two special women that have been there since the first day of my life. They have been there through the good and the bad. Those two women are my mother, Norma, and my sister, Katherine. I want to thank you two for teaching me about values , respect, and how to treat a woman. You were both there to guide me along this path making sure that I don't walk down the wrong one. I can truly say that I felt as if God has blessed me with the gift of having two mothers. To my mother, I always admired your courage especially when it came to making decisions that involved risks. You and my dad left your careers in Peru and came to the United States to give my sister and I a better chance at becoming successful. For that, I am forever thankful and there is nothing I can do that will be able to repay it. I think you are the reason why I am fearless while taking this path of entrepreneurship even when things don't go my way. You always know when something is wrong with me even if I lie and say I am fine. You were always there to give me that extra push when I thought I have reached my limit. You always teach valuable life lessons with all the wisdom you acquired throughout your whole life. I love you mami and want to let you know you will always have a special place in my heart. To my sister Kathy, I have admired your leadership ever since I witnessed you climb the ranks of Dieruff High School's AFJROTC program and get promoted to group commander of the whole unit. You are very fierce and don't tolerate anyone who tries to belittle you or intimidate you. I also admire your intelligence and your craving for knowledge as you are on your way to pursuing your MBA. We both have a goofy personality, that we get from dad, and know how to cheer each other up when we are feeling overwhelmed or stressed. Thank you for choosing me as the Godfather of my beautiful nephew. I am 100% sure you got this since you practically helped raise me since I was a baby. I love you Katta and wish you and Elijah the best in raising a new family. Lots of Love, Luis Bardales Jr. |
